COLUMBUS, OHIO (Jan. 5, 2023) – Today Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) Commissioner M. Beth Trombold announced her resignation, effective Feb. 10, 2023.

“Serving as commissioner for nearly 10 years has been a highlight of my career in public service. It has been a pleasure to work with Chair Jenifer French and my colleagues to uphold the PUCO mission of ensuring Ohioans access to adequate, safe, and reliable utility services at fair prices, while facilitating competitive choices. I have also been continually impressed with the PUCO staff who work professionally and tirelessly to maintain vital utility services and protect Ohioans,” stated Commissioner Trombold.
