COLUMBUS, OHIO (May 5, 2021) – Today the Public Utilities Commission of Ohio (PUCO) issued a request for proposal (RFP) for audit services of electric distribution utilities and Ohio Valley Electric Corporation (OVEC). Proposals are due by June 7, 2021.
Ohio law requires the PUCO to conduct an audit of power purchase agreement riders of AEP Ohio, AES Ohio and Duke Energy Ohio. The audit will assist the PUCO in evaluating the utilities’ actions with respect to their ownership interests in OVEC. The audit period will cover Jan. 1, 2020 through Dec. 31, 2020.
